The plot thickens when they take it upon themselves to investigate and discover security camera footage of a Shriftry immobilizing Joy with Stun Spore before carrying her off. Their only clue as to Joy’s location is a mysterious entry on Shriftry in the Pokedex, indicating that these Pokemon inhabit only trees that are over 1000 years old.
